The FXR4 was the last Harley Davidson production bike built with the evolution engine. After being discontinued in 1994, Harley brought this bike back for a special limited edition for one final build before retiring the evolution engine from production. Hence the FXR4 is regarded as a collectors edition bike. Only about 900 were produced and available in only 2 different colors. This is 1 of only 2 of these bikes that was sold in Utah back in 2000. I am the original owner and this bike has been meticulously maintained by Harley Davidson of Salt Lake City. It only has 1900 miles on it and looks like a brand new bike.

Harley Davidson FXR was produced in various models from 1982-1994 and again from 1999-2000.

The models in the years 1982-1983 were equipped with a shovel engine, while the rest of the models had evolution engines.

Because of its rubbermounted engine (Rubber is placed in front of the engine and at the swingarm) the bike has a lot fewer vibrations than the ordinary Harley bikes this is appreciated by bikers who ride at high speed or long distances.
