2003 Heritage Classic Softail, 100th Anniversary Year, 26,000 miles, carbureted, stage one kit, synthetic oil, good tires, special paint, lots of chrome, original leather saddle bags, current California registration through April 2016. That’s the basics. If you’re still interested, keep reading.

I bought this motorcycle new from D&S Harley Davidson in Oregon. It had just been placed on the showroom floor. The dealership put the limited edition paint set on it and had changed out some of the parts to the Harley “Flame” collection. They also installed, what was new for that year, a combination speedometer/tachometer in place of what would have been the stock speedometer. It features a digital odometer and a trip odometer.

Over the years I have switched out the “Flame” collection to the “Willie G Skull” collection which matches better with the skull and tribal flames of the paint set. This paint set is number 34 of 150. There are over 40 “Willie G” skulls on this bike. You have to look hard to find them all. The paint is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures. No dents, no scratches, no dings. The paint really pops in the sun and you can see all of the metal flake in the darker red.

Among the accessories I have added are chrome Softail bars, chrome/skull shift and clutch levers, chrome/skull mirrors, chrome front brake reservoir and cover, chrome switch covers, chrome lower forks, chrome triple tree tins, chrome headlight and driving light visors and frame inserts. Skull accessories include windshield trim, front and rear axle covers, grips, triple tree clamp, gas tank cap emblem, passenger backrest emblem, floor boards, shifter pegs, rear brake pedal, shift linkage, rear fender light cover, timing cover, primary cover, passenger foot pegs and bolts for the saddle bag lid stiffeners.

The removable windshield has a special 100th Anniversary emblemed windshield bag. The original saddle bags are in great condition, have a stiffener kit installed and have a quick release mounting system. It uses a second barrel key and takes only seconds to remove or replace. I have the original standard Softail seat which is in great condition. I replaced it in 2011 with a Mustang Solo highway seat with an adjustable back rest for a trip across country. From California to New York to Sturgis and home; 6900 miles in a couple of weeks. The Mustang seat was far better than the stock seat would have been. There is a chrome Leader Brand cell phone mount , GPS mount and 12volt accessory socket installed. The two mounts are on the bars, and the 12volt socket is on the engine guard. The engine guard is by Lindby and features flush fitting, folding highway pegs. All cables have been replaced, the two throttle cables were just replaced a couple of weeks ago, all looking better than the stock cables.

I have a somewhat matching rear luggage piece that is included in the sale (check the pictures) as well as a Harley 100th Anniversary cloth cover. I have the original owners manual, two sets of keys, two alarm fobs and maintenance history. The bike has always been garage stored, washed and waxed by hand, serviced locally and has absolutely no issues.
