77 Sportster XLH. I've owned this bike since 1980. Everything is perfect. Less than 20,000 miles. It's never been bored out, original pots. Only hone job in 1981 with new rings and valve grind. Transmission is completely rebuilt. I bought it from the second owner. The original owner only rode it about 2,500 miles, then died in car crash. A friend of mine bought it in 1980, drove it only a few hundred miles then needed the money for a trip, so I've had it ever since. It's got a new Barnett clutch, new primary chain and idler, new stock shocks, and a new battery. It's never let me down on the road. My good friend, Rich, god rest his soul, painted it in Black Cherry in 1981. The paint job alone would cost you two or three grand easy I'll bet. He even painted the original front fender black cherry which I still have wrapped in a towel since then if you wanted to change the front end to original. I've got most of the original parts like the seat, handle bars, etc. It comes with a 100th anniversary bike cover. You could ride this bike across the country no problem. I'm asking $9,750.
