No more engine oil circulating through primary. Primary oil now lubricates primary chain & clutch. New H-D Dual-Disc Front End along with new H-D 11" Vented Discs + new H-D Front Master Cylinder & Brake Lever + new H-D Dual-disc Front Brake Lines + new H-D Turn Signal Module (located in headlamp nacelle) allows turn signals to flash for 7 seconds before self-cancelling. No need to hold switch while turning + H-D Halogen Passing Lamps + new H-D Switch Housings & Clamps, new Switches & Switch Wiring + new H-D Chrome Handlebar (same profile as original) + new H-D FLH Windshield + new H-D Long Stem "true image" mirrors + new Eagle Iron Footboards, new H-D Shifter Pegs + newer Dunlop Elite "491" Tires + new H-D Rear Bumper + new H-D Saddlebag Locks & Saddlebag Trim "King of the Highway" + SANTEE Mufflers with new H-D Heat Shields on right side + newer Rear Brake Pads with original "banana" caliper + new H-D Battery (replaced this summer) along with Starter Solenoid + newer Ignition Switch, Hitachi Starter & all Circuit Breakers + new Battery Side & Top Covers and Top Strap + Original Police Solo Seat.
The cylinder heads on this bike have been machined for "dual plug" application. Currently, the 2 spark plugs on the right side of each head are "going along for the ride"! When the DYNATEK ignition was originally installed, there was a problem in the ignition (nose cone resident) module. Rather than losing time while this was being sorted out, I reverted back to the SCREAMING EAGLE ignition (single plug/dual fire) which is currently on the bike.
DYNATEK replaced the ignition module with a new unit which I have. The bike will remain as is with the SCREAMING EAGLE ignition installed. I will include the DYNATEK single fire/dual plug ignition with the bike. This includes: Ignition Module, Ignition Coil (4 tower) which fits in the original coil location, 2 additional Dynatek Spark Plug Wires (8mm), Bracket which allows the stock coil cover to be used with the Dynatek 4-tower coil, and Installation Instructions.
VEHICLE CONDITION:
The speedometer on this bike was replaced because of a dirty (clouded) face and is aftermarket (could not get OEM unit). The odometer currently shows 10,492 miles. I have put approximately 1500 miles on this bike since these upgrades, which were done between 2 and 3 years ago. Time constraints as well as other commitments have not allowed me the time to ride and enjoy this bike.
This bike is in very good to excellent condition. As for the paint - some chips, some touch-up, but still very acceptable. The RIGHT saddlebag cover is an aftermarket replacement which is somewhat of a colour mismatch. The original colour of the bike is Police "birch white" (original for that time period). The replacement cover (unpainted) is closer to "arctic white" (much like the Police bikes are painted now). Depending on the light, the colour difference is barely noticeable. The interior of the saddlebags do need to be refurbished.
There is a small oil leak from the rear cylinder rocker box which blows back on the battery cover when riding. It is coming from the rocker box shaft bolt and should be an easy fix. As well, the pushrods, the clutch and engine timing should be adjusted as they have not been since the rebuild.
The transmission on this bike has not been touched, but shifts like the typical Harley 4-speed.
Although there are many new parts installed on this bike, it is being sold as a used vehicle, in as is condition, with no warranty expressed or implied.
