This is a bike intended for a qualified person to work on. The bike does not run currently! It has a front and rear blown head-gasket by the best of our knowledge. The bike otherwise appears to be running. The carburetor/air cleaner shown in the picture is a “loan” from another bike and is being removed before the sale. Carburetors are available new on Amazon for $40, get a used aircleaner or buy an aftermarket one for $35 more. The bike otherwise comes as it is. Paint is in great condition for the age of the bike, most parts are well kept with the exception of the handlebars, which are rusty and should be replaced.

This is a rare 883 Deluxe model!

FL Residents: We do not have to register this bike with a plate, we can just do a title transfer to save money on registration. Sales Tax still applies!!

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
