I bought this bike brand new, Jan. 97. It has 56k miles and has had regular scheduled maintenance checkups the whole time I've had it. I've been told that I ride like a grandma, and since I'm a women, I'm OK with that. So rest assured the bike has not been ridden hard or raced around town, although I have taken it on a few long trips in the 13 years I've owned it. I bought a horse last year, so I hardly ever ride the iron horse anymore. Seems a shame to let a perfectly good bike collect dust while I'm only riding it once a month on a maintenance ride.

I've lowered the price to sell before Thanksgiving. If not sold by 11/13, I'll give to consignment shop and raise price to cover my costs.
