I purchased this baby with 32K odometer miles from a police officer in Virginia Beach. The engine was remanufactured by H-D at 21,842 odometer miles for a previous owner after an issue with the oil pressure gauge.

I purchased this bike as an Electra Glide Classic (see single photo of the bike when I bought it parked in front of a garage), and immediately turned it into a “Street Glide” (remaining photos) All of the original hardware will be included as separate pieces (see photos). In addition to the original seating, it comes with a Street Glide seat (now on the bike as pictured), an unused Road King seat, and a quick release sissy bar/back rest (see photos of bike set up for my passenger with the classic seat and back rest). It also comes with a batwing bra (never used and still in the box) and a pair of saddlebag covers (never used). Two windscreens are included, a short smoke colored screen for summer and a taller clear one for spring and fall. The air horn was added by a previous owner. During the time I’ve owned it I installed the 14” mid apes with wiring inside the handlebars along with all the necessary chrome-braided cables and hoses. As you can tell from the photo of me riding the bike, the bars are very comfortable (I’m 5’11” and 185 lbs). I replaced the original mirrors with take-offs installed on the wings of the fairing. I replaced the original lower legs with new polished aluminium lowers. I installed the fishtail slip-ons, along with shortened baffles tuned to be loud enough for local riding, but quiet enough for New Hope PA. I added a cam for torque (Andrews EV23), which permits low rpm cruising through neighborhoods and the local farmland, along with an S&S steel breather gear to replace the original plastic one. I added an H-D OEM oil cooler with chrome cover. I relocated the coil from above the rocker box of the front cylinder to within the left side access panel, raised the gas tank 1 3/8” in the front and 1/4" in the back to provide a better view of the engine while making the front rocker box easier to polish. I also replaced the gas tank crossover line with something nicer looking. I replaced the original CV carb idle adjustment screw with long flex rubber covered screw for dynamic idle adjustment on the fly. Recently, I added a hyperbright LED strip, which I “frenched” into each of the saddle bags (see photo of one side installed and lit up, that was taken during the modification) When riding solo I use the street glide seat, and when I have a passenger, I attach the Electra Glide seat and sissy bar/back rest (two clips and a single screw), moving my body forward a bit, but providing the comfort my passenger really appreciates. The sale will include a binder with all receipts over the history of the bike, including the original sales contracts, its owners manual, service manual and parts catalog.

I recently purchased an ’08 Road King, so this baby has to go. It has been ridden gently, meticulously maintained, and kept indoors in a heated shed that I also use as a shop. We’ve ridden a lot of trouble free miles and have accumulated many wonderful memories together, as you can judge by the photos. I hope it will do the same for you.
