This is a 2000 Harley Davidson Softail Nighttrain with the twin cam balanced engine that I’ve owned since it was new. If you’ve never ridden a bike with one of these engines, then you’re in for a real treat. I’ve always loved the blacked out look of these bikes. Why have something that everyone else has with the typical chromed out bike? Ive added just a few chrome accessories to accent it. I also have installed one-of-a-kind 6” extended forward controls. Im 6'2" and with the stock setup, it felt like my knees were on my chest. So if youre average to tall, then you will definitely appreciate these so you can cruise in style. They can easily be returned to stock if desired in about 15 minutes. I have many extras and features included, which are listed below. I modified and installed a tachometer between the handlebars and gas tank, which looks great. It was originally designed to mount on top of the handlebars but that looked like some aftermarket 10-speed turd. I also modified and installed an engine oil cooler on it as well. Something else that I installed is the big bore kit which increased the engine size from 88 cubic inches or 1488 cc's to 95 cubic inches or 1550 cc's. The stock horsepower is about 63 and the torque is about 70. I’ve never had the bike dyno'd but per the performance graphs in the Harley Davidson catalog, it should be putting out around 80 horsepower and 100 ft. lbs. of torque. Thats a great increase for a 2 cylinder engine. I have all of the original parts except the pistons, cylinders, and exhaust pipes. Another very useful feature that I installed is a pigtail quick disconnect wire onto the battery that connects to a battery tender. I will include that and the battery tender as well. I’m also including an 1800 pound capacity motorcycle jack that raises the entire bike off the ground, which is perfect when doing any kind of maintenance. The only thing this bike could use is a high torque starter. It starts fine but the increased compression does put a slight strain on the stock starter. Otherwise, it runs and sounds great and is very reliable and will give you many years and miles of trouble free operation. The summer months are here so why not hit the streets with great looking and sounding Hog. I’ve done all the work myself and have always taken very good care of this bike and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things were done right. Everything is in brand new condition. It has always been garaged, covered, and has never been laid down. All oils, (engine, transmission, and primary gearbox) have been changed every 3000 miles.

The bike has 10,200 miles on it. The engine modifications were installed when it had 2,600 miles on it.
