This little bugger is an 883 Hugger. The pre-Low version of the Sportster. Transformed into a custom ride with tall apes, custom painted and all the right trimmings to make this ride stand out in the crowd. Runs good, lots of nice stuff, a perfect little ride for anybody who is looking for cool without having to spend the big bucks. Its all done. Carbureted makes it easy to switch out pipes and readjust without doing computer work.

The bike of course has its scruffs here and there, see the walk around video on our website. The biggest blemish is the pipes that show some surface rust. Either wrap them or heat-paint them with Barbeque paint. Overall a great bike for an awesome price.

The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.
