For starters, the adjustable shocks have been slammed to the lower limit and the bumper stop adjusted and bolted down as a hardtail. The fender struts have been chopped, and the rear fender replaced with a self-supporting Milwaukee Iron. The Pearl Blue HD paint has been changed to Black (without HD logos on the tank)! The front end is one of the cleanest you'll find. The front fender has been chopped and the fender mounts removed. The lower fork sliders have been chromed and the factory caps replaced with chrome. The left and right switch housings have been removed from the handlebars! The turn signal and horn switches were no longer required as the horn and all turn signals have been removed from the bike! The run and ignition switches have been re-routed and mounted on a chrome plate where the horn used to be--very unique! Chrome Accutronix brake and clutch levers, and brake reservior grace the Beefy-T drag bars. A single low-profile Arlen Ness left side mirror completes the look. The air filter and housing were replaced by a Forcewinder with K&N high performance filter. The chrome Accutronix forward foot controls add to the clean styling. The pipes: Samson Streetsweepers of course. The license plate and rear brakelight are side-mounted off the left rear side. The essentials (rocker boxes and tappet covers, primary cover, derby cover...) have all been replaced with HD chrome covers. It is a great balance of chrome and minimalism. In fact, the chrome upper and lower belt guards were removed as they screamed "tacky". I'm currently running a 150 on the rear tire (which you can do after chopping the fender struts)! Always a conversation piece among a parking lot full of stock bikes. There are still a few covers that bear the HD name; just enough to let them know who you are without having to announce your presence. The hardmounts can be removed and the adjustable shocks raised if you still desire a softail. This bike is unique, sleek, and a veteran of Sturgis.
