2002 Bourget Fat Daddy. Please read the entire description and look at all of the photos carefully for the exact condition. This is a beautiful highly optioned motorcycle. I was told the original MSRP on this motorcycle was $47,000. The paint is a gorgeous cobalt blue with a killer skull on on the gas tank and matching one on the rear fender. I bought this bike about a year ago and it had been sitting for a few months since it’s last ride. I did the basic service/tune up as it didn’t really need anything even the battery was fine as long as it was kept on the trickle charger but I put a brand new sealed battery in it a few weeks ago so it would come with a fresh new battery for the new owner. It does have a Salvege title I didn’t realize this when I bought it and not sure of the history of it. Please make sure you are fine with this before purchasing! Thanks in advance! I found out when I went to register it and get the title in my name. Guy failed to mention that so I can not go into detail on that other than my observations as it sits now and if any paint repairs they were done amazingly well as I see no indications of it the paint is amazing it is a 20 year old bike so has some typical small scratches but overall the paint is really good shape for a 20 year old bike. As far as the previous damage that I can see it the left side foot control snapped off and was re-welded back on. I spoke to a motorcycle shop about this and he told me in these exact words believe it or not a shop can salvege a bike just because of that, something that small because it involved the frame even though no real damage to the frame. there is a small knick on the left side back of seat, which is a easy repair with a vinyl repair kit once again I didn’t care, also a rub on the left side front of the NOS bottle. I think that is all I have noticed. As far as the riding condition of this bike it feels exactly as it should and rides amazing and engine sounds perfect and is strong smooth and no smoke or leaks that I see. Rockers and base gaskets look perfect the whole engine does it’s beautiful. If you have never ridden a Bourget they are some of the smoothest riding choppers or custom bikes on the market. One of the best interstate riding for sure they hardly vibrate through the grips at all probably from the combination of thick frame and the oil in the frame to dampen it coupled with the balanced engines, they are extremely smooth riding.
Bike options that I know of-The engine is the S&S 113” (1890cc) with the competition package and fully polished with the BBW engraved rocker boxes. If you are not familiar with the process Bourget builds their own engines by one of the best in the business their engine build room looks like a surgeon’s office. They balance and blue print them to stricter tolerances than S&S engines you buy direct already built from S&S and their tolerances are very good. Also on some engine's like this one they fully polish them for extra money and when they do they look amazing. This engine is absolutely beautiful. Kills me to sell the bike and even considered pulling the engine out and keeping it as I can not replace a engine of this caliber for less than $10,000. It also has the exposed NOS system in the gas tanks and it is fully plumbed, if you want to use these would need to fill I never did it goes fast enough as it is for me on engine alone. Most of these systems you see on other Bourget’s are not plumbed ready to go they are show only, for additional money you can get them plumbed ready to go and this one had that option added. The rake on the bike is 40 degrees and it has a 5” stretch with standard footpegs, BBW offers extended and shortened foot controls these are standard length which fits most people perfect unless your really tall or short. The wheels on the bike are called Pyros the front wheel is 21” the rear is a 18”x9” with a 250mm series tire which rides and handles great for wide tire bikes and for me the perfect wide side not too big not too small they ended up later years going all the way to a 330mm which was just too wide. Another neat thing about Bourget’s that make them ride so well is the double Jack shaft pulley they use to offset the larger wider wheels which keeps everything perfectly in line and balanced. In 2002 this was revolutionary and before the right side drive transmissions (which takes away from looks to me) made this bike by far the best riding most balanced bike on the market. All the other custom bike companies at the time were just spacing out the primary to make the wide rear tire work and what that would do is make your bike primary side heavy and off balance, you almost had to fight the off balance while riding it they constantly pulled left not these perfectly balanced. This one has the Brute 4 open primary with the shield cover on it that looks great. The front end is a 34” inverted front end these front ends are amazing a show piece in itself. The whole bike the engine transmission and chrome look great I see no putting at all in any of it. As far as some of the billet aluminum I never had any of it polished only cleaned and almost all of it looks brand new, the front end and handlebars have some slight light scratches from age but all could be polished out to perfection. I never did it or had it done looked great as is to me but just wanted to mention one of the beauties of the billet aluminum parts is you can polish them back to new. Wheels, rocker cover’s, engine ect. really look fantastic and do not need polishing at all at least to me. I am including a bunch of photos of every angle of the bike so you can see exactly what you would potentially be purchasing use the zoom and view them all closely. If one desired this bike could be taken back to 100% easily I thought it looked perfect as is. If you have any questions feel free to ask away and I will try my best to answer. I worked for BBW in the early mid 2000’s and know them better than most.
