This 2003 FXDP Dyna Police Defender was purchased used out of the H-D police program in October of 2004, with only 627 miles on it.

This blacked-out beauty is painted 2007 (Mustang) Grabber Orange, applied on a stock fuel tank and custom chopped and widened front fender and chopped stock rear fender with flat black lay down plate and lay down tail light. The foot controls are H-D forward controls powder coated medium gloss black. The front end has been upgraded to an FXDX sport suspension (w/adjustable spring preload, compression damping, and rebound damping) with dual disc brakes. Brake calipers are machined smoothed and painted gloss black to match the gloss black centered brake rotors and gloss black fork sliders with gloss black axle covers.

The rear suspension is a pair Progressive 412 gloss black heavy-duty 11" shocks, with machined smooth gloss black brake caliper and gloss black centered brake rotor. Also included are gloss black jiffy stand, belt guard, debris deflector, and sprocket cover, all installed with chrome hardware, as well as gloss black axle covers. The rear turn signals are wrinkle black V-rod unitss with smoked lenses, mounted flush onto wrinkle black fender strut covers. The front tire is a K591 Dunlop sport tire and the rear is a 150 D401 Dunlop tire. (Rear fender hardware has been modified to allow for safe fitment of the 150 tire).

The handlebars are internally wired Stock FXDWG bars powder coated medium gloss black, supporting the OEM speedometer and tachometer, with new black switch housings and 2003 style black mirrors and levers, all held together with chrome fasteners. The triple trees and headlamp housing are gloss black, and the front turn signals (also gloss black with smoked lenses) are mounted tightly to the upper triple trees to give it a clean look.

The engine is a 95" Twin Cam with HTCC ported heads, matched HTCC pistons, Screamin' Eagle 251 cams, an SE adjustable curve race ignition, a 45mm SE Mikuni carburetor & port matched intake, a Woods KF325 (3-1/2") air filter on a smooth bore SE backing plate, behind an FXSTB style round wrinkle-black cover. Exhaust is a ceramic coated Screamin' Eagle 2-into-1 header with Supertrapp discs. Rear wheel output is 109 Horsepower at 6,000 RPM (100+ HP at 4,800 up to 6,500 red-line) and 109 Lb./Ft. of torque at 4,200 RPM. (100+ Lb.Ft. of Torque at 3,300 on up to 5,600 RPM).

Most visible fasteners are chrome, or covered with smooth Hottoppers, to give the black cases and covers a riveted-on look, and to add contrast of the gloss black, flat black, and wrinkle black components on the bike.

The unit has 5,022 miles on it. The full 5k service has been performed, and a new H-D battery has just been installed at an authorized H-D dealer (as were all of the engine modifications and tuning).

I have all of the service records for this bike, as well as an owner's manual, 2 sets of keys, and a copy of the 109 horsepower & 109 lb./ft. torque dyno sheet. I have over $9,500 invested in parts alone for the engine upgrades and powder coated accessories on this bike, and want it to go to a good home.
