You are looking at a 2003 Softail Standard in Vivid Black. One of our employees owns this beautiful Harley-Davidson, and he is buying a new motorcycle from us, so we are helping him sell it with this listing. This Harley-Davidson Softail Standard has 15,900 miles on it. All of the accessories that have been added are Genuine Harley-Davidson parts and accessories, with the exception of the exhaust and upgraded fork springs. Accessories include: Detachable windshield, Detachable backrest with luggage rack, Large capacity leather saddlebags, Sundowner seat, smoked turn signal lenses, Leather hand grips, Chrome sprocket cover with chrome hardware, Chrome lower belt guard, Chrome front axle nut covers, 42mm polished Mikuni Carb, K&N Screamin Eagle Air Cleaner, Night Train Rear wheel with floating rotors front and rear. Blacked out lower legs triple trees and front spokes. I have an engine guard with billet highway peg mounts. It is not on bike now but is included in the sale. Aftermarket upgrades include Samson Long Slashers with torque cones and Progressive Fork Springs. The blacked out front end was completed this last June and it looks great! It has had Syn3 Synthetic oil since the 1000 mile service, and regular services every 2500 to 3000 miles. The bike runs and sounds great with the pipes, and the Progressive front suspension really improves the handling. The Front tire and brake pads were replaced in June. The rear tire and brake pads were replaced last October, mileage at replacement was 13,950. The bike is in great condition. Of course it is used so there are a few flaws and wear items to point out and the pictures will illustrate. The bottom heat shield is scratched, due to leaning a little too far into the corners. (I'll include stock take off pipes if requested) The front fender has one rock chip in it. The primary and derby cover are scratched from the metal plate from the heal of a Harley-Davidson Boot.
