This is a 2003, 100th Anniversary XL 1200S, arguably the best Sportster to roll off the Harley-Davidson assembly line. The 2003 Sportster Sport was the third fastest Harley produced that year. There was the V-Rod, the Duce, and the Sportster Sport. The Sport was produced from 1996 through 2003; only 31,001 were produced. I couldn’t decide when I was looking at bikes whether I wanted the Custom with it’s extra chrome and forward controls or the Sport with it’s up-rated fully adjustable suspension at both ends, double floating disc front brakes, tach, and 15% higher output 1200cc V-twin engine with lightened flywheels and dual-plugged Buell heads. So. I bought the Sport, chromed the engine parts, added forward controls, added a Sundowner touring seat, purchased 4 large Smooth Chrome Billet foot pegs, a smooth chrome billet shifter, and added the appropriate 100th anniversary emblems. I then installed a Thunder Page alarm system. This is one of those bikes that people walk up to and ask about when you’re in a parking lot.

I purchased this as a collector bike but unfortunately there are some people in India who are earning my money today. I firmly believe that this bike is going to be worth some big change in years to come. This sale also includes the H-D 20003 Service Manual and Parts Manual (that will save you about a hundred bucks). The total package for this bike was over $12,000. All original parts, primary cover, seat, etc. are in a box and come with the bike. If you plan on buying the bike and customizing it, please don’t tell me.
