Motorcycle Description "PANHEAD BAGGER"
Beautiful show bike or a nice bike to cruise on, has a lot of power. You won't see too many of this style here on the East Coast. It is featured with a 4 page spread in Iron Works Magazine, November 2005. The bike was built by Kustom Culture in San Francisco. Here is what was written about the bike:
This is a Rigid-Frame Pan. Some of the amenities are: Disc brakes, electric starter, Overdrive 6-speed transmission and state-of-the-art Avon tires. It is a beautiful Maroon and Black Retro Style bike.
The engine is based on a S & S Shovelhead lower end topped with STD modern Panhead. The 88-Cubic-inch engine was blueprinted and assembled by Accurate Engineering. Accurate fitted it with an S & S Super E Carburetor and original-style flex exhaust headers leading to a '60s-style muffler. The 6-speed overdrive transmission accommodates electric start only, the final drive is with a new belt similar to what you'll find on every new Harley rolling out of the York, PA plant.
The front and rear disc brakes are similar to what you'll find on a York product too, and the calipers even wear the H-D emblem.
The wheels are Hallcraft's Texas-spoke assemblies, including powdercoated rims with chromed spokes, Front and rear rubber wears the Avon Label, measuring 130/70-18 (front) and 200/55-18 (rear)
Chopper Guys rigid frame.
Corbin Gentry Saddle settle down seat. A small coil-cover shock absorber serving as the seat post does double duty as a mini-shock absorber.
Steering remains neutral thanks to a 35-degree steering head, and with 1 1/2 inches of stretch to the backbone, the bike doesn't look stubby or out of proportion.
The bike comes with a detachable Fairing. There are more pics on the website www.hogsonthehighseas.com and click on the Alaska cruise, then to the left click on giveaways and you will see the bike. The bike also comes with Detachable lockable saddle bags. The detachable Fairing is by Kenny Day. The Hard bags are culled from the V-Twin Catalogue
It has a retro two-tone paint job and anything that wasn't painted or plated was powdercoated
The items that I will note are: The speedometer does need calibrated, I have the instructions but I did not calibrate it, There is a button for a horn and a wire but there is no horn attached. I have all the original paperwork for you to get it registered. I am not aware of any warranties on the bike since it was a grand prize giveaway. I will be selling the bike "AS-IS"
The rally organizers had the bike built for $32400 that is stated on the website. This bike could be yours for only $18000. The only miles that are on the bike is when I took it out for a ride to see how it handled and whatever riding the builder did for the photoshoot, it can't be more than 100 miles. It has been garage kept.
