I bought this bike used in 2007 from a San Antonio police officer...with only 52 miles on it! She has been modified and improved considerably over the years. She began her life as a 103" twin cam cop bike with a 6 speed tranny. Initially I converted her into a full dresser...comparable to an ultra. I added a detachable, lighted tour pack with luggage rack that can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance. The vivid black painted inner faring and fairing cap house a lighted full array "spun aluminum" gauges, including an oil temperature gauge. I added cruise control and a marine grade Clarion stereo with full front and rear speakers and tweeters mounted directly into the inner faring. All locks and ignition are keyed the same. The medium height dark tinted windshield with chrome bar and shield trim and HD faring bra along with HD concho trim on front fender and passenger floorboard covers catch the eye! Matching floorboards, shifter, brake and grips further the good looks! And now the good stuff...on the way back from Sturgis in 2009 she was making some odd noise that we traced to the crankshaft and flywheel bearings. We tore her down and built her stout with around 45k miles on her. Dark horse crankworks out of Wisconsin rebuilt and balanced the flywheels and lower unit. We freshened up the cylinders(+.1) and dropped some domed high compression screaming eagle Pistons in along with SE 211 cams. A Dynojet Power Commander 3 manages the fuel explosions that exit through a 2 into 1 Rinehart pipe. Jim Kallay at Phantom Rider Choppers dialed it in to crank out 102.59 ft-lbs and 92.78 hp. The heads have been deglazed and valves/springs gone through within the last year. The new rings are broken in and ready to roll!! I would not hesitate to ride her to the black hills tomorrow! She has been ridden and is far from a trailor queen. She has a few blemishes, but she is badass!!
