By definition it’s definition Choppers have been around from the early days of motorcycles. “Chopping” off stock parts and making the bikes lighter and personalizing them has been around for a century. Todays’ long raked Choppers became popular in the 60s and were immortalized in “Easy Rider”. In the late 90s they started to become a “thing” again and in the early 2000 flush with cash everybody wanted one and everybody started to make them till the market crash in 2008 when the free money dried up. Today you can buy these $30,000-machines for under $10,000, basically for less than the price of a motor and transmission.

This Unique Custom Cycles Chopper is not in the best of shape cosmetically. The chrome is peeling in a lot of places and the paint has chips here and there. She is a 10ft-beauty but on close up shows her wrinkles. This bike will make an amazing project for someone who is looking for a very strong ridable Chopper that mechanically works excellent but who will want to put their own personal stamp on this bike.

Personally, I would go from chrome to black and make this a mean one-off by powder coating most of the chrome parts and come up with a unique color combo. Also the option to leather wrap the lowers where the heavy peeling is visible and maybe even the oil tank.

The bike runs like a charm. Fires right up and has plenty of power. Tires are good on her so she is a great driver. Balanced even up to 65Mph (max I was able to go)
